About the event
Join Space for Sistas™ for a community event at the movies and mental wellness discussion. From this event, participants will be able to:
- Identify the #1 thing to build self-compassion
- Discuss common challenges faced by Black women and girls
- Apply to S.I.S.T.A. Methodâ„¢ to learn how to speak up and seek support
- Learn strategies to improve mental well-being within 24 hours
- Explore strengths and limitations to overcoming hard parts of life (adversity)
- Explain how embracing uniqueness helps with body positivity and self-esteem
Through the support of generous gifters, we have been able to reduce the cost of tickets. We do not provide transportation to the theatre or pay for snacks.
